Dr Malombe Excites Kitui South During Funeral of Gallant Daughter


The most sought after personality in Kitui county; Dr Julius Malombe today (Saturday) received a rapturous  welcome in Kanziku, Kitui South during a visit to condole with a bereaved family.

The pioneer Kitui governor credited with unmatched development programmes was attending the funeral of Juliet Wayua Nzuki, sister to former Kitui Central MP Titus Mbathi married in Kanziku.

Kyuma as Malombe is popularly known was in the company of Kitui South MP Rachael Kaki Nyamai. Also in attendance was decorated Kitui business mogul who is also the chairman of the Kitui chamber of commerce and Industry, Duncan Singi.

The burial had no political undertones with the leaders saying they were only attending to console the family for the big loss of their relative.

However, the ecstatic  mood in the crowd could not be ignored owing to the fact that people across the vast county have been yearning for Dr Malombe’s comeback to county leadership.

The former governor is a planning guru who initiated development projects across all corners of the county. In addition, Dr Malombe ensured strict and prudent management of county resources.

For this reason, voters across the county have been wooing the former governor to come back and rescue the county that has been thrown into the abyss of raw theft of public resources, mismanagement, cluelessness and conmanship by the sick and sickening Mbee Nzei regime.

The residents have decried lack of drugs in health facilities, lack of salaries for county workers, lack of commitment to develop the county, among other unforgivable ills. They have described Kyuma as the safe pair of hands to drive the county agenda.

The fact that he owns a parcel of land within Kitui Municipality should not be a strange thing to anyone. However, what is concerning is when another individual attempts to criminally encroach on and grab Dr Malombe's piece of land, in the hope that he will keep quiet just because he is the governor. This is the most warped thinking ever, and it is anchored on blackmail.  The plot in question is legally owned by Dr Julius Makau Malombe. It was legally allotted to him over 30 years ago. And as a law abiding citizen, Malombe has been faithfully and legally paying land rates for the said piece of land since that time to date!
