Fake Masks, PPEs Worth 15M Returned To Kicotec As Tenderpreneur Contemplates Suicide

KEMSA has dealt Kicotec godown a deadly blow after it returned masks and PPEs worth 15million shillings for being fake and of poor material.

The consignment was delivered to the factory recently as Ngilu and a female tenderpreneur were salivating for Sh15.6 million that was to be paid by KEMSA.

KEMSA, through its quality assurance auditors declared the consignment of thousands of masks and PPEs  as FAKE and stamped the cargo with 'Return to Sender' tag.

The national government entity had given KICOTEC godown a tender to supply the masks and PPEs at a quick notice. When this lucrative tender was floated, Ngilu and her cartels saw an opportunity to make a quick buck without much sweat.

Female tenderpreneur secures massive loan

With nostrils arched up in the air at the smell of crisp new notes, the cartels approached a licker female tenderpreneur who operates a shop at Muli Mall and offered her the tender to supply the items. Within a week, the materials would be ready and delivered to KEMSA who would - in another one week - pay up. It sounded such a sweet deal.

"The businesswoman was required to mobilize money and buy raw materials from Nairobi to make the masks and PPEs. She approached her bank and secured a Sh9 million loan which she used to purchase raw materials from Nairobi's river road" said our tipster and a trusted mole resident at the juakali mbee nzei government.

Our desk has been reliably informed that the cartels demanded an upfront of Sh1 million to give out the tender which the lady gave out without flinching.

"The calculation was that if all went according to plan, the female tenderpreneur would make a cool Sh4 million in profit in under two weeks, while the cartels would share the remaining profit. It sounded like a good deal" Our trusted mole disclosed.

But shock on the female tenderpreneuer, Ngilu and her cartels as the materials were rejected by KEMSA and returned back.

Ngilu stops picking her calls

We are told that the female tenderpreneur immediately sunk into depression and became suicidal, even as her bank began to send alerts to her to pay up her first installment of the loan which she has defaulted. What is worse, Ngilu has stopped picking her calls and totally ignored her.

"The woman spends her time brooding at her shop at Muli Mall. She is in deep thoughts and we fear she might take her life" our tipster added.

Our desk also learnt that the woman's husband, who was opposed to the deal from the start is threatening to divorce the unfortunate tenderpreneur, whose name and identity we are going to reveal in our next explosive episode.

In short, outgoing Ngilu has screwed up this woman, and rendered her life miserable!

Coming Up:

We reveal the identity of the suicidal female tenderpreneur and what other deals she has cut with Mbee Nzei in the past. Stay close.
