DG WATHE BLOCKED FROM ITHOOKWE EATING BONANZA

Wathe Nzau, frustrated but smiling

That failed and outgoing Kaluki Ngilu has fallen out with his amiable deputy, Wathe Nzau and continues to use every opportunity to frustrate him is not in doubt.

Wathe has been a besieged man in the juakali mbee nzei administration where he, and his aides survive without allowances, since his claims are never processed.

On Wednesday, Ngilu assembled a team of her slaves and lickers at her Ithookwe home, ostensibly to "eat with them" after surviving the deadly COVID-19 malady. (We recently reported how she collapsed at her home and airlifted to Nairobi where she was put on oxygen for days)

During the Ithookwe meeting, Wathe was not invited and the organizers had strict directives to keep him in the dark. The deputy governor only came to learn of the event after reading about it on social media, according to our resident moles in the ramshackle government.

"He was not aware. They did not invite him. They kept him in the dark, it is the continuation of undermining and frustrating him" our mole disclosed.

The attendees of the meeting made merry, celebrating Ngilu's mismanagement of the county as they looked forward to some prepared envelopes. The slaves left the place late in the night, each pocketing "transport and lunch" allowance.

"Lakini the closest of the lickers spent the entire night there. Drinking alcohol and laughing like deranged baboons" another of our mole who also attended the meeting told our desk.

Even in public meetings, Ngilu has conveniently forgotten to introduce her deputy even as she introduces other low key officials.

Even as you read this, the deputy governor has no official car. His only car broke down and was recently auctioned by a financial institution.

But even in the face of this adversity, the baby faced Wathe continues to put up a smiling face.

Does he know something we don't? Maybe he is a fan of Sun Tsu's Art of War literature.

  1. Ngilu has terribly failed. Any sober minded staff who have mistakenly found themselves in the regime are frustrated. She like working with fools only. How I wish kitui people could know
