VIDEO: Failed Ngilu Rejected In Miambani

Rejected Kaluki Ngilu

Drama erupted at a funeral in Miambani ward which is in the heart of Kitui Central when some idle lickers allied to failed and outgoing governor Kaluki Ngilu were nearly chased away by an irate crowd.

Trouble for the Ngilu lickers started when her goon known as Kuthamba attempted to retch up the mourners by mentioning the rejected woman.

"Tyo mwisi ninduu na ngilu...." the drunk goon chimed while rolling up his blood shot eyes to see the reaction from the crowd.

"Aaii thi naku we, maundu maku na Ngilu twikenda...thi vyu" the agitated crowd roared back, getting the goon and his fellow lickers flatfooted.

Dejected and lost, the goon handed over the mic to the area MCA, one Alex Nganga who is a Ngilu slave of many decades and who moles say has lately invested his time drinking hard liquor after sensing massive defeat for his goddess.

But being clever, Nganga could not broach the Ngilu subject since he knows she is not wanted in Miambani, just like in other wards across Kitui county.

The corrupt Ngilu has single handedly seen the death of the county through wanton stealing of public funds and pilferage of public resources by cobbling up shenzi and dubious projects.

No wonder the outgoing governor is being rejected right at her doorstep.

This is a confirmation that Miambani and indeed larger Kitui central are not Ngilu's strongholds as some wannabe politicians would want to believe.

A number of MCAs who were initially allied to her have taken a back seat and many are concentrating on defending their seats instead of selling the unsellable Ngilu.

"My friend all politics are local. What wisdom is there to campaign for Ngilu and in the process I lose my seat as she loses hers? Kila mtu anajipanga sasa" stated an MCA whose ground is also said to be volatile due to his associations with the rejected governor.

A good number of MCAs have started aligning themselves to the will of Kitui people who are agitating to have pioneer governor Dr Julius Malombe back to the helm.
