Below is the full list of Chief Officer nominees as presented by Governor Julius Malombe to the County Assembly. 


Governor Malombe said he will only appoint 4 particular Chief Officers once a court case lodged by four Ngilu COs is heard and concluded by the court. 


This means even after the vetting and possible approval, the governor will not appoint the 4 until the court gives its ruling.

3. Stephen Kitonga Salee - Decentralized Units, SEKEB and Inter-governmental Relations.


4. Kamunda John - Governor's Service Delivery Unit & Public Communication.

5. Ferdinand Ndemah Kathenge - Tourism, Hospitality & Game Reserves.


6. Dr. Musyoka Benson Wambua - Medical Services.


7. Aggrey Kinyalili Kamba - Drugs and Medical Supplies Management.


8. Lynn Kitwan - Public Health & Sanitation.

9. Bretta Mwangangi - Culture, Gender & Social Services.


10. Nason Kang'alya Kilonzo - Youth,  Sports, ICT and Innovation.


11. Benjamin Kithee Chamia - Roads & Public Works.


12. John Makau Kimwele - Finance, Revenue Management and Accounting.

It is Dr Malombe's Land - Evidence Shows

Payment of land rates   No Criminal Encroacher should attempt to Grab Dr Malombe's legally acquired land Our Reporter   Governor Julius Malombe, as a private citizen, has the legal rights to own land anywhere in the Country. The fact that he owns a parcel of land within Kitui Municipality should not be a strange thing to anyone. However, what is concerning is when another individual attempts to criminally encroach on and grab Dr Malombe's piece of land, in the hope that he will keep quiet just because he is the governor. This is the most warped thinking ever, and it is anchored on blackmail.  The plot in question is legally owned by Dr Julius Makau Malombe. It was legally allotted to him over 30 years ago. And as a law abiding citizen, Malombe has been faithfully and legally paying land rates for the said piece of land since that time to date!
