Gov Malombe has Done more in 8 Months than Ngilu did in 5 Years - Hon Mbai.

~ When we tell you that the county is under a firm management of Governor Julius Malombe, some say we are blowing our own trumpet.


~ However today, this was confirmed by an unlikely quarter. KITUI East MP Nimrod Mbai who led a parliamentary Commitee to Kitui rightly observed that what Governor Malombe has done in 8 months with very limited resources is way much more than what mbee nzei government under Kaluki Ngilu did in 5 years.


~ The mbee nzei government was accused of plunder and high theft, and this explains why Ngilu did not defend her seat and opted to run away from restive voters.


~ Dr Malombe came in on the backdrop of reclamation and restoration. And this is something he is doing passionately for the benefit of Kitui county residents. 


~ This is why even other leaders who belong to different political affiliations can clearly see Malombe's progressive work. And much more is coming, if only the National Government would release all the funds allocated to the counties. 


"We are going to support you fully because we know you mean well for the people" MP Mbai said, during his visit alongside other MPs belonging to the National Assembly's Public Petitions Committee.


~ The legislators who included Hon Edith Nyenze of Kitui West, Hon Marwa Maisori and Hon Suzanne Kiamba were visiting to discuss the rehabilitation of Matinga dam in Kitui West at a cost of Ksh1.3 billion. 


~ Governor Malombe's administration is committed to ensuring the county is water secure and has come up with a raft of strategies to achieve this.

Payment of land rates   No Criminal Encroacher should attempt to Grab Dr Malombe's legally acquired land Our Reporter   Governor Julius Malombe, as a private citizen, has the legal rights to own land anywhere in the Country. The fact that he owns a parcel of land within Kitui Municipality should not be a strange thing to anyone. However, what is concerning is when another individual attempts to criminally encroach on and grab Dr Malombe's piece of land, in the hope that he will keep quiet just because he is the governor. This is the most warped thinking ever, and it is anchored on blackmail.  The plot in question is legally owned by Dr Julius Makau Malombe. It was legally allotted to him over 30 years ago. And as a law abiding citizen, Malombe has been faithfully and legally paying land rates for the said piece of land since that time to date!
