Breaking News: Hon Mulyungi and his goons beaten up, chased away from Mwingi Level IV hospital 


Mwingi Central Mp Gideon Mulyungi and his hired goons are currently licking their wounds and counting losses after being beaten up and chased away from Mwingi Level IV hospital by residents who have vowed to protect their facility from Kalisasi cartels.


The misguided MP and his hirelings  had tried to invade the hospital to evict the newly posted senior doctors there but their evil plan was thwarted by the angry residents who together with police kicked them out.


The little Mulyungi was seen scampering for safety as the irate residents threatened to lynch him and his gang.


"Shika hako kamtu, kanyaga yeye," a well fed local youth from Kyanika village shouted as Mulyungi and his criminals took to their heels, before the MP was shepherded to his car and fled. "Hatutaki Kalisasi cartels and mafia. Waende kabisa" shouted another.


Majority of Mwingi residents have condemned the MP for trying to take the hospital hostage for self profiteering. 


The hospital's deputy medical superintendent Dr Kennedy Vundi comes from Mwingi Central and the people of Mui Ward and the larger Mwingi Central have vowed to stand with their son to bring sanity at the hospital. One wonders why Mulyungi wants only Kalisasi people to run the facility.

Payment of land rates   No Criminal Encroacher should attempt to Grab Dr Malombe's legally acquired land Our Reporter   Governor Julius Malombe, as a private citizen, has the legal rights to own land anywhere in the Country. The fact that he owns a parcel of land within Kitui Municipality should not be a strange thing to anyone. However, what is concerning is when another individual attempts to criminally encroach on and grab Dr Malombe's piece of land, in the hope that he will keep quiet just because he is the governor. This is the most warped thinking ever, and it is anchored on blackmail.  The plot in question is legally owned by Dr Julius Makau Malombe. It was legally allotted to him over 30 years ago. And as a law abiding citizen, Malombe has been faithfully and legally paying land rates for the said piece of land since that time to date!
