Arrest Mulyungi Now - ODPP Directs Kitui Police

The office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) has concluded investigations into a physical and sexual assault case filed against Mwingi Central MP Gideon Mulyungi.


And now the prosecutor has directed the police in Kitui County to arrest the legislator on sight and present him at Kitui High Court where he will be charged with two counts of assault on Kitui business lady Angela Rhoda alias Kazuri who runs a popular eatery in Mwingi town.


Rhoda has filed a criminal case against Mulyungi where she alleges that he physically assaulted her and groped her breasts when the MP in the company of his disheveled goons stormed into her hotel in Mwingi town slightly over a month ago.


The little MP who is represented by Mwingi's nocturnal lawyer; wakili Mbaluka has been desperately trying to reach out to Kazuri for an out of court settlement but all his efforts has been dismissed. 

 

It is now clear that the short bodied and short tempered Mulyungi who is given to beating and insulting people will now have a date at the dock. He is also facing a separate assault for reportedly beating up Kalonzo's PA James Matiki.


Reports reaching our desk reveal that Mulyungi and his lawyer are desperately trying to have him charged at Mwingi magistrates court where they plan to storm the court precincts with hundreds of goons to disrupt the court proceedings.

The fact that he owns a parcel of land within Kitui Municipality should not be a strange thing to anyone. However, what is concerning is when another individual attempts to criminally encroach on and grab Dr Malombe's piece of land, in the hope that he will keep quiet just because he is the governor. This is the most warped thinking ever, and it is anchored on blackmail.  The plot in question is legally owned by Dr Julius Makau Malombe. It was legally allotted to him over 30 years ago. And as a law abiding citizen, Malombe has been faithfully and legally paying land rates for the said piece of land since that time to date!
