It is Dr Malombe's Land - Evidence Shows

Payment of land rates

No Criminal Encroacher should attempt to Grab Dr Malombe's legally acquired land

Our Reporter

Governor Julius Malombe, as a private citizen, has the legal rights to own land anywhere in the Country.

The fact that he owns a parcel of land within Kitui Municipality should not be a strange thing to anyone.

However, what is concerning is when another individual attempts to criminally encroach on and grab Dr Malombe's piece of land, in the hope that he will keep quiet just because he is the governor. This is the most warped thinking ever, and it is anchored on blackmail.

The plot in question is legally owned by Dr Julius Makau Malombe. It was legally allotted to him over 30 years ago. And as a law abiding citizen, Malombe has been faithfully and legally paying land rates for the said piece of land since that time to date!

The fact that he has not developed that piece of land is not a licence for greedy individuals to try to grab it.

Siasa playing politics...

The trader by the name Dominic Siasa Malusi who is wailing  all over, and trying to whip up public emotions by using ignorant bloggers is only playing politics and wasting his time.  He's trying to play victim yet he is the land grabber.

One wonders, if the illegal encroacher named Siasa has legal documents to the ownership of the plot, why has he not gone to court to argue his case? Why is he crying in the streets?

The man knows he has no ownership rights to the plot. This is why he is playing to the gallery in the hope that he will scare away the rightful owner. The trader in this case is the criminal!

In his desperate attempt to charge up emotions, the illegal trader has produced documents which show he was only allocated "space" to put up a "temporary kiosk". Allocation of space to operate a business is not ownership of land, and Siasa Malusi knows this too well.

The rightful owner...

Dr Malombe has a right to develop his piece of land in whichever way he deems fit, as long as he is within the legal purview. He can develop the land today, tomorrow or even 50 years from today. He can erect walls on it and other structures. It is his land!

If the illegal encroacher knows what is best for him, let him run before the law of the land catches up with him.

Bwana Siasa Malusi,  blackmail won't work. Illegal land grabbers like you will not be tolerated, whether by a Governor or a private citizen.

Be warned!
