Bringing Healthcare Closer Home—Ngiluni Maternity Unit Opens Doors

Residents of Kisasi Ward in Kitui Rural Sub-County have received a major boost in maternal and child healthcare following the commissioning of the Ngiluni Dispensary Maternity Unit by Governor Dr. Julius Malombe.


The new facility is expected to significantly improve access to safe delivery services for expectant mothers who previously had to travel long distances in search of maternity care. 


With the unit now operational, women in the area will be able to receive skilled birth attendance and essential maternal services closer to home.


The development marks a key step in strengthening grassroots healthcare, as Dr. Malombe's administration continues to invest in health infrastructure aimed at reducing maternal and infant risks while ensuring communities access quality medical services within their localities.
