I’m On My Knees, Support Me To Win Again – Ngilu Begs County Workers
If there is a queen of somersault in this entire universe, then Kaluki Ngilu tops the list. Who would have thought that the failed and rejected governor would come out to beg her staff, almost shed tears (pretentiously) while asking for their support to win election in 2022?
Yet that is what Kaluki did today Wednesday 14th October 2020. The embattled governor assembled her staff who included village and ward admins to take stock of her government’s misadventure.
And our network did not fail. We planted 3 highly trusted moles right inside the meeting in which Ngilu begged her staff like a pregnant widow, while promising not to fail them again.
“Tell me ladies and gentlemen, where have I gone wrong? I can feel so much hatred in the air” Ngilu posed in the middle of the meeting that kicked off by apologizing to the staff for chronic delayed salaries and other injustices.
Seeing that nobody was willing to take the first bite, the Jezebel went mellow and almost knelt down.
“Come on guys, tuneenanie. Don’t fear me, I am your servant….where have we gone wrong. Nenda tuthukume imwe na mwingwata kwoko tusyoke kivilani ingi,” she cooed, almost in a whimper.
At this juncture, a number of them put up their hands in the air. Some told her how they felt misused, and mistreated by mbee nzei regime. Some even told her the government was tattered and nobody knew what was happening any more.
“Can you imagine I am a staff member and I have no idea what happens here? We only learn of things from the social media. The bloggers seem to have a lot of info than the staff…” one bitter soul said.
Ngilu the pretender purported to listen keenly and was from time to time seen taking notes, or pretending to. “yes yes any other comment, let us be free…I am your servant….” She chimed like a tamed rat.
“Some senior staff members who know her character very well were just knocking each other’s feet and laughing chinichini. They knew she was lying and did not mean anything she said” one of our embedded mole reported.
When everybody had spoken, outgoing Ngilu stood up and thanked them all for 'ventilating'. She then said she wanted to work with everybody and even promised going forward salaries will be paid by 5th of every month.
She then lamented about constant and consistent avalanche of war she is facing on social media led by your trusted network and our sister associates and wondered if the staff could help her diffuse some of the fight.
“You know the truth, don’t you, we have worked…kicotec, cabro, ndengu ... you need to be responding to those issues when raised…” she said.
The rejected governor then informed the gathering that she will defend her seat no doubt, because the BBI arithmetic was full, as she put it. Soon she will start touring the grassroots to talk to Musangi, she said, and appreciate the voters with some token.
“The woman has zero clue, totally zero. You can tell she has panicked and now pretends to be friends to bring take us aboard her sinking ship” commented one of the attendants.
“This is laughable. Truly laughable. This woman has failed and has no conscience” said another.
