20M Kalundu Beach Rendered Useless As Its Makers

Ngilu's 20M quack beach washed away

Few months ago, outgoing Kaluki Ngilu launched what she called Kalundu Beach and Eco park, a useless and thoughtless project that gobbled up Ksh20 million.

While launching the shenzi project in a fanfare event attended by her foolish lickers and slaves, the outgoing governor pompously claimed that the beach would offer an opportunity to county residents to enjoy themselves. Everybody was skeptical about the foolish idea.

The governor who has been cited as the most incompetent and thoughtless leader this side of Sahara had awarded looting tenders to her cartels to ferry sand, plant flowers and erect walls within the purported beach site.

She then procured a Christmas tree and canoes at exorbitant costs for the shenzi project that did not in anyway benefit the county residents. (Let them outline the benefits and we shall happily publish)

During the much hyped launch, her lickers were seen dangling from the canoes and padding around like demented hippies. Her slaves then took countless photos and hawked them on social media including Twitter in desperate attempt to win attention. Even at national stage, this was instantly dismissed as a silly and mediocre venture in a county dogged by so many pressing needs.

Well, less than 5 months down the line, the useless project is no more. As predicted by our veritable desk, the thoughtless Ksh20 million Kalundu Beach and Eco park has succumbed to the vagaries of weather. Following a recent heavy downpour, the Shenzi thing was washed away by furious surface runoff and with it millions of tax payers money, leaving the clueless Ngilu and her looting cartels with an egg all over their faces. The Ksh20M invested in this useless project would have done 10 fully equipped boreholes across the water scarce ndee nation, each valued at Ksh2M.

"Hii ilikuwa tu ukora. Look at this? Total waste, it looks like the Gedi ruins of the Coast. Huyu mama should be severely punished for wasting public funds in undertaking idiotic projects" fumed Jack Mukonza, a local trader while showing us the remnants of the project.

Our desk has consistently told the county residents that Ngilu will never know the priorities of the vast county even if she was to spend the rest of her lifetime in a classroom.

Majority of county residents - including her one time diehards - are now convinced beyond any measure of doubt that Kaluki cannot manage public resources.

"She has proven to be a heckler and an attention seeker, a populist who initiates senseless things meant to waste public money. Atamaliza county huyu mama" Jack stated.

With Ngilu there is no hope. She is out to loot, squander, pilfer and desecrate. She must be thrown into the dustbins of history.
