Assembly Stops Ngilu From Hiring As Ghost Workers Fleece Kitui

Besieged

The assembly has immediately stopped failed and outgoing governor Ngilu from any further recruitment of county staff.

In a letter signed by the county clerk and addressed to the chair of County Public Service Board Mrs Makindi (we have a special episode on Mrs Makindi engaged in salacious scandal with another lady coming up), the assembly has ordered the board to immediately stop any plans to hire more staff until the thorny issue of ghost workers in the county  payroll is addressed.

"You are directed to stop further staff recruitment until the issue raised earlier (on ghost workers) is addressed failure to which stern will be taken against you" the letter reads in part.

Kitui county under Ngilu has been cited even by the Auditor General for having undocumented workers who pocket hundreds of thousands of shillings every month.

These ghost workers have been conveniently placed in the county payroll by the governor and her cartels to loot county coffers, where the money goes straight to their accounts.

The county under Ngilu has also been cited for ballooning wagebill, occasioned by the failed governor's ghost workers.

She has also brought in the system hundreds of idle casuals who pockets huge sums of money every month, leaving the needy county cash strapped.

Now it looks like until Ngilu agrees to clean the system of her looting ghost workers, Kitui might not have genuine staff employed such as health workers and others.

Will Ngilu kick out her ghost workers and return the millions of shillings stolen through them?see the letter below.

  1. Well how would reward those who worked for you? Since 1969 all aspiring members of parliament were promising jobs to the electorate. At one time it cost the then MP for Kitui central his seat for not employing Kitui people despite himself being the minister for labour. What am I saying? We push our leaders to break the law to satisfy our demands.
