Lifestyle Audit: Muthoka's Multi Millions Wealth Exposed

Barely 5 years after joining the corrupt and juakali mbee nzei administration as a struggling pharmacist, Dr Richard Muthoka has curved his teeth as one of the richest county tycoons in Kenya. 

When you hear that in the entire Kitui county, hospitals have no drugs and consumables, save for a few cartons of paracetamols and government Condoms, it is not hard to know why. 

Looking at Dr Muthoka's accumulated wealth over a period of 4 years, you don't need to be a brain surgeon to know where the billions meant for health care provision in Kitui county have possibly disappeared to. 

But proud Muthoka is unmoved. The recluse walks with a straight face in town, dismissing everybody that he doesn't like as scum of the earth.

 Indeed Muthoka claims he can buy anybody that he wants; including investigative agencies who might come snooping on his acquired wealth and fat bank accounts.

So wealthy has Muthoka become that he now demands to be addressed as  Honorable, after declaring his interest for Kitui East parliamentary seat!

To gain the stature of an MP, Muthoka is putting up an eye popping Castle at his village in Nzambani ward. The Mansion, worthy Ksh275 million shillings has an helipad at the top where Muthoka will be landing his chopper for a well oiled campaigns for his parliamentary ambitions. 

The Castle has other features such as grenade proof underground bunkers, a mini bar and restaurant, automated deep freezers, jacuzzi and everything that goes for a big man. Only a mortuary is not featured in the Castle!

- Ksh24 Million bungalow in Syokimau, Nairobi city county. 

- A Ksh10 million Petrol station located at Kanyangi market through a proxy (name to be revealed in coming dossiers)

- A multi million Mabati company at Manyenyoni, sitting on a one acre piece of land, controversially acquired from a former MCA. (This investment is under a proxy whose name and details we have)

- Ksh17 million Modern Eatery at Donholm Estate, Nairobi city county. He acquired this from a South African company.

- A multi million supermarket at the heart of Kitui town, operating under proxy (whose name and details we have) 

Our desk has also established that the incoming Mheshimiwa holds a dollar account with a reputable Kenyan bank.

NB(This is what we have been able to unearth after scratching beneath the surface just a little. What if we use a mattock?)

We have also established that Dr Muthoka is planning to expand his investment wings outside the country and has his eyes set on Kigali City in Rwanda and Pretoria in South Africa. 

While we have no issue with Muthoka accumulating his wealth and investing, we find it curious that barely 5 years after joining the County Govt, he is now a multi millionaire with chains of properties and several fat bank accounts.

We are not saying anything, but Dr Muthoka is a perfect candidate for EACC and DCI investigations.

Although he boasts he has a magic wand for those guys, whatever that means!
