Kiema Concedes After Malombe Gets Ticket on Merit

Wishing u well sir

Former Kitui gubernatorial aspirant Kiema Kilonzo has reconcilled with his loss and called it a day after the Wiper ticket was handed over to the popular Dr. Malombe on merit.

In a statement he issued today to his supporters, Kiema said although he so much wanted to become the governor, he realized the odds were against him since all opinion polls had placed him way below Dr. Malombe by far.

Kiema said he will live to fight another election. Read his statement below.

"Dear my friends and supporters. I thank God for you. I thank you all for your support and prayers. As you know, we have been contesting to secure the Wiper ticket to run for Governor position for Kitui County on 9th August 2022. We were contesting for ticket with Dr. Malombe, the former governor. Through very unclear and suspicious circumstances, the wiper ticket for gubernatorial contest in August was issued to Dr. Malombe. This is painful to all of us. However, we are committed to seeing a better and prosperous Kitui. As such, we are consulting and we will advise the direction we go in participating in the upcoming elections.

Amb. Hon. Kiema Kilonzo"

Kiema's statement is welcome and we at Skymoon Desk thank him for showing up his political mettle. However we want to humbly remind him that this election is not about Dr. Malombe but about the people of Kitui county who have requested the pioneer governor to rescue the sinking county under mbee nzei cartels.

To Kiema supporters, we love you all. Come and let's join hands in making Kitui great again. You are gallant soldiers, elections come and go.

Skymoon Desk wishes Hon. Kiema the very best in his future endeavors.
