Revenue collection in upward trajectory under Malombe Revenue Shoots up as Malombe Dismantles Looting Cartels  Our Reporter   Notable positive changes are already being witnessed in the county after the election of Governor Julius Malombe who came into office on a promise of rescuing the county and her people from the morass of decadence initiated by fallen Kaluki Ngilu. Chief among these positive impacts is the revenue collection. According to a Revenue Collection Report for October 2022 seen by our desk, the revenue collection is on an upward trajectory since Governor Malombe took office and initiated robust changes in the revenue department.  Part of these changes include sealing the loopholes of revenue theft and kicking out Ngilu's cartels planted in the revenue department to loot and plunder.   Efforts are paying off ...  The efforts by the Governor are paying off, according to figures captured in the Revenue Collection Report.  Notably, Revenue Collection has increased sub

Your Legal Bar Talk Can't Fly - Wakili Kimuli Warns Nganga

Morris Kimuli   Wakili Morris Kimuli, who is also Kaluki Ngilu's legal counsel has for the first time in a long time sobered up and told off Ngilu's orphans in the County Assembly over their threat to legal action.  The Ngilu orphans led by drunkard Alex Nganga have been leading lonely and impotent threats to lodge a court case over Governor Malombe's CEC nominees.  However today, Mr Kimuli while commenting in an opposition WhatsApp group rubbished Nganga's drunken threats, dismissing them as idle bar talk.  Kimuli advised that the intended legal suit can only suffer a crushing miscarriage at the court of law, and told Nganga and his cohort of drunken Ngilu orphans to climb down from their imaginary Ivory tower.  Below is what Kimuli posted, a statement that has reduced Nganga and other Ngilu orphans to legal buffoons.  "What Constitution? To the best of my knowledge, he has forwarded names to the Assembly, albeit beyond the 21 days. That, to me, constitutes what

Noise From Ngilu Orphans Won't Distract Malombe

Noise From Ngilu Orphans Won't Distract Hardworking Dr. Malombe A coterie of desperate Ngilu orphans have regrouped and made it their occupation to keep howling in social media.   Their desperation is meant to cast Dr. Malombe's government in bad light. Sadly for them, their evil effort is melting away like butter on a hot knife!  In the mix is also a small group of Ngilu orphaned MCAs led by Alex Nganga and Sylvester Munyalo alias Yaamu, well known political extortionists and groupies whose con games are hitting a brick wall.  What the minions do not know is that Governor Malombe's administration is founded on a firm & solid foundation. It is unshakable. The orphans' pet subject is the matter of CECs nomination by the governor. However, Skymoon Desk , which is the only purveyor of unfettered truth wishes to set the record straight on this issue. 1. That Governor Malombe made public a list of CEC nominees in line with the relevant laws and forwarded the list to the

HR Audit Commitee Goes After Kitui Ghost Workers

Image
In an effort to clean up the mess left behind by Kaluki Ngilu and her collapsed mbee nzei regime, Governor Julius Malombe has formed an HR Audit Commitee to establish the staffing status in the county.  In a published Gazette notice, the committee known as Kitui County Human Resource Audit and Rationalization Committee will have 14 members to peruse through the employment files with a fine tooth comb.  Its mandate is to carry out an audit of the current human resource status and advise on the optimal staffing levels for permanent, contractual and casual workers across all the departments.  The HR Audit Commitee is going to smoke out a swarm of ghost workers planted in the system by Kaluki and her cartels and who have been fleecing the county coffers huge sums of money for services not rendered.  Governor Malombe has insisted on a meticulous operation where every shilling meant for public use will be properly accounted for. One of the key areas the HR Audit Commitee would want to focu

Stephen Mbaya How Dr. Malombe Chose the 10 Cabinet Nominees. 1. Regional Balance Kitui being a vast county, there has always been need to ensure regional balance in public appointments. Indeed, during his campaigns, Dr. Malombe stated that no part of the county would be left out in his government. For this reason, Governor Malombe's list of nominees is a clear representation of the County. All the 8 constituencies are represented. And to add the icing on the cake, the vast Kitui South and Kitui East got two slots each . There is no more reason for a disquite from Kitui South. Peter Mwikya Kilonzo alias Tangawizi who has been nominated to the _Finance, Economic Planning & Revenue Management_  docket comes from Athi Ward Also from South is John Mwendandu who comes from Ikanga. He will head _Energy, Environment, Forestry, Natural & Mineral resources_ docket The larger Kitui East also got two slots Engineer Reuben Itiko who comes from Chuluni ward,  nominated to head _Roads and
