Governor Malombe has launched the project today in a ceremony attended by thousands of people who thanked the county boss for actualizing the water project.
Kitui County Assembly MCAs were also present during the event that was also attended by World Vision officials and top County Executive officials.
Thanks to the Kangu Kangu Water Project, Mutomo town now enjoys clean, safe and reliable water in homes, schools, business premisses and institutions.
This has brought to an end years of scarcity and suffering where a 20 litre jerrican used to cost Ksh30. A 20 litre jerrican now sells at a paltry Ksh5.
The water quality has been approved by the World Health Organization, Water Services Regulatory Board (WASREB) and KEBS.
Special thanks to Governor Julius Malombe and his team for steering this life changing project which is truly transforming lives.
