Ngilu; Monumental Failure, Empty Promises and Unpaid Hospital Bills

Friday, September 4th, retired Kaluki Ngilu visited Kitui County Referral Hospital and violently discharged 15 mothers and 4 other patients.


She claimed she was out to pay patient bills. She did not pay a single penny!  Instead she used goons to spirit her and the patients away. She has no intention of paying. 


But which Ngilu is this who pretends to have compassion?

Ngilu was here for 5 odd years, and everything she touched turned into an instant scandal. 


During her misadventure, Kitui County Hospitals were literal deathbeds. Patients agonized painfully even as she cobbled up a looting venture called KChic where people's money was pocketed before she took off.


Ngilu sold oxygen cylinders 

During COVID-19, patients died likes flies as Ngilu and her thugs sneaked away donated oxygen cylinders and sold them off to private hospitals in Nairobi.


She again looted the COVID-19 funds meant to alleviate patients suffering. (EACC has investigated this theft). Ngilu has blood in her hands.


When she accidentally came in, she also found that Governor Malombe has started the construction of a 276 bed capacity maternity wing. She stopped it instantly and kicked out the contractor who was branded imundu ya Malombe.


Determined to make Kitui a cesspool, Ngilu ran down Ikutha level IV Hospital and carted away state of the art X ray machines and sold them off.


 At Kitui and Mwingi hospitals, repairs for major hospital machines was never done, reducing them into monuments as Ngilu and her cartels filled up their bank accounts with illicit money.


ON THE FLIP SIDE, Governor Malombe has constructed and equiped new ICU and a Renal Unit, a fully equipped New Born Unit, a functional oxygen plant at Mwingi level IV, an eye theatre, ENT unit, a complete drug store, and much more. 


Today, state of the art x-ray machines are functional. A cancer centre is functional. A new maternity wing is about to be completed.


• So which Ngilu is hawking herself around? 

The one who looted, plundered, and stole public funds, including COVID-19 funds?


• The one who looted kithomboani market World Bank funds? 


• The one who initiated foolish programmes such as kwikia ng'ombe moko and kunguni spraying? 


• The one who made county workers suffer for months without salaries and refused to pay contractors?


• The one who blew up offices in night fires to hide evidence of theft? 


Give us a break!!! Ngilu is a complete waste of time! 


The people of Kitui County are awake. They have rejected Ngilu and will continue doing so. Ngilu has nothing to offer. She is a complete waste of time!
