Kinengo: The Master Pretender with Evil, Roho Nyeusi

God hates pretenders and hypocrites. 

Matthew 23:27-28 (NIV)

"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean. In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness."

This verse Speaks of Kinengo Katisya, the embattled Kitui County Assembly Speaker who is a decorated pretender and hypocrite of mega proportions. 

When cornered, Kinengo innocently plays victim and appears meek to con people of their sympathy, just the same way he conned his way to the Speaker's post on a 'mercy vote' only to unleash his true colours months after attaining power. 

Kinengo is a pretender, a dragon, a man full of hate and bile, a vengeful soul who, on the outside appears clean like a white washed tomb but in the inside he burns with evil, deceit, Conmanship and pretence. God hates such characters.

This is why Kinengo is now embattled. MCAs who are principally his bosses want nothing to do with him. 

Kinengo dines with Satan 

For two odd years, Kinengo has walked the majority MCAs down the suffering path, undercutting them, kicking them out of privileged committees at will, and visiting untold suffering on them. 

And now the rogue Speaker has crossed the Rubicon. He must dine with the devil.

What is more curious is that Kinengo has elected to be the aggressor, always. Every step of the way, the rogue Speaker has elected to undermine the overworking Governor Malombe. Kinengo mutilates the Executive's budgets, he delays passage of supplimentary budgets, and when he's high on Scotch whisky and being nursed by his concubines, he cooks impeachments motions against Governor Malombe's ministers.

With little power, Kinengo is a tyrant 

Yes still, when the rogue Speaker feels like he has some grip of power, he announces in funerals and ndwae ngone mwaitu events how he is going to impeach the Governor if he (the Governor) doesn't toe his line. 

But Kinengo did not start today. He assumed a war monger stance immediately he was sworn into office. When Governor Malombe was selecting his ministers, Kinengo demanded 5 slots to appoint his concubines and cronies.

This was unheard of. But Kinengo pushed the card hard, punching in the air like a deranged boxer. When he realized he won't get any slots, he vowed to punish the Governor by knocking off one of his nominees - the current education CECM. He said one minister must fall ndio Governor amtambue! You all remember the stalemate.

'Give me 30% COs' he ordered Governor 

Soon after that, Kinengo would demand 30 percent of slots for Chief Officers. By this time he was already drunk with power. He publicly announced that he was equal to the Governor, and issued ultimatums left, right, centre and above. 

Despite all these attacks, the Governor assumed a fatherly stance on Kinengo and gave him the benefit of doubt, to mend his ways, and to outgrow his puberty-hood. 

To show his ultimate support for the rogue Speaker, the Governor advised MCAs to drop the idea of impeaching him, when they had vowed to. It took 20 hours for the Governor to convince the irate MCAs to leave the wayward Speaker alone. So the nonsense that the Governor fights the recalcitrant Speaker is a lazy tale from bimbos. 

Pays Governor's kindness with high madharau 

Yet the unruly Speaker has treated Governor Malombe with contempt. He has paid Malombe's kindness with madharau and evil. He has disgraced the MCAs and reduced the County Assembly to a theatre of the absurd where chaos, anarchy, mayhem and unrest reign supreme. 

And for these reasons, the rogue Speaker must be saved from himself. Similarly, Kitui county must be saved from the war-monger, recalcitrant and incapacitated Speaker.

This time round, Governor Malombe will not stop the MCAs from doing what they have purposed to do to reclaim the glory of the House. And no amount of blackmail from the anarchist Speaker and his lapdogs will do.

The die is cast!
