Governor Dr. Julius Malombe has done it again! Today, the people of Miambani Ward woke up to a promise fulfilled as the Governor officially commissioned the Thua–Miambani Sump Well — a transformative water project set to change lives for generations.


🌊 What this means for Miambani

This is not just a well. This is 1,250 households finally getting reliable, safe water. This is mothers no longer walking miles at dawn. This is learners staying in class instead of chasing water. This is dignity delivered.


The project connects four water kiosks strategically positioned to serve the community:


✅ Miambani Primary School — clean water for our future leaders

✅ Miambani Market — powering local businesses and traders

✅ Kwa Ben — bringing relief to families

✅ Mutauni — water where it was needed most.


The impact ripples far beyond household taps:


· AIC Miambani Secondary School learners now have reliable water access

· Miambani Primary School pupils can focus on studies, not survival

· Miambani Health Centre can serve patients with clean, safe water — a critical need for any medical facility

Fully operational since September 2025, Gatoroni Dispensary offers critical outpatient services alongside comprehensive maternity care.  Speaking while commissioning the facility, Governor Malombe stated that the presence of a functional maternity unit at the far flung region will significantly improve maternal and child health outcomes.
