Dr Julius Malombe has appealed to suffering Kitui populace to hold on for a little while as prepares to come back and continue with the development agenda of the county, that stalled immediately he left the stage. Speaking at Kyangwithwa West during a visit to condole with the family of the late Stephen  Kithuku, Dr. Malombe noted that he had heard the people’s cry and anguish and their reverberating call for him to come back and rescue the county. Health Chief officer in the collapsed Mbee Nzei administration 'Dr' Richard Muthoka is a man of pomposity. Little power has gotten into Muthoka's pharmacy head and now he thinks he can bully and shove around healthcare workers. On Thursday October 15th Muthoka penned an intimidating email to his immediate junior in the department, Dr Allan Owino directing him to immediately start getting a roll call of all health care workers who report to work across all the facilities in the county.  Muthoka who schooled at a Punjab university in India after failing in his high school education claimed in his email that healthcare workers had been paid for two months and had no business keeping off their work stations.   Prominent Eldoret MCA Peter Chomba collapsed and died as he was being treated at the Eldoret hospital. Chomba was MCA for Huruma ward which is the largest in Eldoret town and is well known for fighting for the rights of the business community in Eldoret especially hawkers. Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi was among the first to arrive at the hospital and said the region had lost one of the most dedicated leaders. KEMSA has dealt Kicotec godown a deadly blow after it returned masks and PPEs worth 15million shillings for being fake and of poor material. The consignment was delivered to the factory recently as Ngilu and a female tenderpreneur were salivating for Sh15.6 million that was to be paid by KEMSA. KEMSA, through its quality assurance auditors declared the consignment of thousands of masks and PPEs  as FAKE and stamped the cargo with 'Return to Sender ' tag. The national government entity had given KICOTEC godown a tender to supply the masks and PPEs at a quick notice. Impeached LIHUD CEC Jacob Kakundi yesterday evening recorded a two page statement with DCI officers at Matinyani police station in connection to the daring theft of a county dozer valued at KSh27 million. Kakundi was flushed out of his Katyethoka home by a phone call from the DCI sleuths from Nairobi, who ordered him to present himself at Matinyani police station for massive grilling.
