Paul Kitungu who nearly caused a gun massacre   It looks like everything that is meant to go wrong for David Mailu Musila will definitely go wrong.  Musila's chief campaigner and strategist Paul Kitungu, who is rumoured to be a licensed security thug nearly caused a gun massacre at Kitinga village in Mwingi Central Ward during the Wiper ward party primaries.  Needless to say, Kitungu nearly lost his balls in the ensuing pandemonium in which he was clobbered like a lost hippo before his gun 🔫 came to his rescue.  Let us give you the context . Wishing u well sir Former Kitui gubernatorial aspirant Kiema Kilonzo has reconcilled with his loss and called it a day after the Wiper ticket was handed over to the popular Dr. Malombe on merit.  In a statement he issued today to his supporters, Kiema said although he so much wanted to become the governor, he realized the odds were against him since all opinion polls had placed him way below Dr. Malombe by far.  Kiema said he will live to fight another election. Yesterday Malombe's name was ratified by the top organs of the Wiper party namely the National Executive Committee (NEC) and the National Elections Board.  According to our top sources in Wiper party, the two top organs arrived at a unanimous decision to hand over the ticket to Dr. Malombe, saying he is the only candidate who can effortlessly deliver the seat. Kalonzo Musyoka   By now, it is evidentiary clear that Kiema Kilonzo is awfully unpopular among Kitui voters. There is nothing Kiema will do to have his doomed bid gather speed. It is dead on water.  All opinion polls, starting with the scientific poll conducted by the Wiper party, plus dozens of others conducted online, show Dr. Julius Malombe leading with a wide margin ( upwards of 60 percent) against Kiema's pitiable performance (constantly below 10 percent).  Kiema can't defeat anybody Kiema's dismal performance is also telling; because one would imagine that his selling point - that he has Kalonzo's son as his deputy - would have gained him popularity. With a below 10 percent popularity across all corners of Kitui, it is clear that Kiema Kilonzo and his running mate are unpopular, and will remain so until the day of the voting.  Clearly, it will be a thunderous defeat for them.
